Our 500+ employees are strategically located to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service and support from our program management, sales, engineering, and executive management teams.
Our continued expansion of capabilities in South East Asia better aligns our production facilities with our customers' supply chain strategies. This further enables our expansion into new products and markets.
Ichor is headquartered in Fremont, California with manufacturing locations in Oregon, Texas, Singapore, Malaysia and the UK. Our sales and engineering office is strategically located in Silicon Valley, California.
Chairman and CEO
Tom Rohrs has served as Executive Chairman for Ichor Systems since 2012, and brings an extensive background of executive managerial experience to Ichor Systems.
Mr. Rohrs has served at an executive capacity in high-profile Silicon Valley companies including Hewlett Packard and Silicon Graphics. Mr. Rohrs also served on the Executive Committee of Applied Materials from 1998 to 2002.
With his experience as an executive of one of our major customers, as well as the CEO of both a semiconductor equipment company as well as a solar company prior to coming to Ichor, Mr. Rohrs brings with him the perspective and acumen necessary to lead Ichor into a more promising tomorrow.
Mr. Rohrs graduated from University of Notre Dame with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and received a MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Maurice Carson’s responsibilities include Finance, Operations, IT and our Legacy Services Group.
Mr. Carson has over 25 years of experience in Finance and Operations. Prior to joining us at Ichor, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a privately held company for 3 years. Mr. Carson’s extensive background in executive level management include having served 2 years as CFO of Actel Corporation, 6 years as CFO of Kulicke & Soffa, and 7 years at Cypress Semiconductor in various positions, including Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance.
Mr. Carson has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado, and holds a MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Mr. Carson has served as Chairman of the Ichor Audit Committee from 2012 to 2014, and currently sits on the Board of Directors.
Mark Hutson brings over 25 years of operations and supply chain management experience to his current position as COO of Ichor Systems, Inc. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hutson has held a variety of executive positions at Ichor over the last several years, including Vice President of Operations of the Austin operations from 2005 through 2007, where he was responsible for complete P&L of the business unit and for all day-to-day activity and operational performance.
From 2004 through 2005, Mr. Hutson worked as Vice President of Supply Chain, where he was responsible for all supplier contracts and programs as well as maintaining the strategic alignment with supply chain for the entire enterprise, sourcing and creating vendor managed programs for approximately $100M of spend in materials.
In 2003, Mr. Hutson started his career at Ichor as Vice President of Ireland operations, where he was responsible for transitioning the merger of two manufacturing sites into a single business unit, P&L responsibilities, operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Mark has a BBA from St. Edwards University.
Phil R. Barros
Philip R. Barros brings over 15 years of product development experience in the semiconductor industry to his current role as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of engineering. At Ichor, Mr. Barros oversees all engineering and technology functions and plays a vital role in Ichor’s new business development and overall growth strategies within core and adjacent markets.
Mr. Barros held a variety of executive and management positions at Ichor from 2004-2009, including Vice President of Systems Engineering. Prior to joining Ichor, Mr. Barros worked at Applied Materials for five years, where he led the development of the NexGen gas system for the Etch division. He holds several granted and pending patents related to gas and chemical delivery systems and their use in semiconductor manufacturing.
Vice President, HR
Jennifer Speer is the Vice President of Human Resources for Ichor Systems, Inc., and serves on the Compensation Committee.
Mrs. Speer is responsible for Ichor’s human resources strategy and all functions within its global Human Resources organization. Areas of responsibility include implementation of human resources policies and practices, talent and career management, organizational development, employee relations, and payroll and benefits administration.
Prior to joining the company in October 2007, Mrs. Speer held various HR leadership roles in public and private sector companies, including Zebra Imaging, Sears Roebuck & Co. and Bridgestone/Firestone. She studied business administration at the University of Houston and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Norm has a background in semiconductor capital equipment as a General Manager for ADE and as the Director of Sales for the Micron BU at KLA-Tencor. He was the Director of Business Development for Flex's Industrial Segment and most recently served as the Account Director for Altran's Intelligent Manufacturing Systems group located in the Bay Area. He has a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and a MBA from Santa Clara University.
